Dreams.

So many thoughts, so many views to express and yet the hardest thing to do is to write your first blog post so I think I should start with a topic that deeply intrigues me….

Dreams.

We all have them right? Dreams of landing our dream job, dreams of travelling and dreams of marrying your Mr or Mrs Perfect amongst others. Dreams motivate us. Dreams give us the possibility to relish in our perception of the ‘ideal’ or ‘perfect’ lifestyle we’d like to lead.

And that’s where it stops for the majority of us.

Delving into the unknown is a sight that frightens the best of us and it is the fear of the unknown which prevents the ordinary human being from achieving their dreams but instead conforming to the stereotypical (but true) working culture of the West which is work, eat, sleep and repeat as it is seen as the ‘traditional’ route for people to take. Don’t get me wrong some might be happy living a Groundhog Day lifestyle in which you do the same routine day in day out but for most it’s a trap, the dreams which once filled your mind disappear as you join the 7am zombies in suits on the Metropolitan line on your way to work.

I guess what I’m trying to find out with this post is whether or not there’s likeminded individuals out there who feel the same, is the purpose of life truly living to work? What’s stopping you from fulfilling your dreams?

Remember….
